Georgina Moir
Georgina is a local artist who creates bold and striking contemporary watercolours of birds and animals. She seeks to create a painting that attracts the viewer’s attention and portrays the character of the animal which is an essential aspect of her work. The eyes are the most important part of her paintings as she feels once she has captured them, the rest falls into place.
As well as being an artist at the Green Tree Gallery, Borde Hill, Georgina has completed numerous commissions nationwide from a robin to celebrate a 70th, a christening duck, and pink flamingos to brighten up a Lake District sitting-room.
She’s thrilled to be exhibiting a variety of works at the Lindfield Art Studio and to be part of the festival for her fourth year running. Alongside her paintings, Georgina will also be showcasing a range of greeting cards which will also be available to buy at the festival. More information about Georgina’s work can be found on her website here.
