Many thanks to all the children who sent in or completed colouring in at Village Day. 
We had many entries and it was a tough choice for the judges. There were some amazing results.

This year we are hosting a colouring competition! We are inviting all residents of Mid Sussex under the age of 12 to show off their artistic talents and get a chance to win prizes! And we have already received some entries!
Contestants can choose to colour in the image of either Luke or Lucy, which were designed by the winner of the 2018 Lindfield Arts Festival Bursary, Tom Mackewn.
The competition has three different age categories; under 5’s, 5-7 and 8-11. The winner of each category will be chosen by the winner of the 2019 Lindfield Arts Festival Bursary alongside a Lindfield Arts Festival Trustee. The winners will each receive a prize of vouchers to a local craft shop to continue to encourage their artistic talents!
Contestants can either download the pictures of Luke or Lucy from the links below to print out and colour in or they can pick them up in person from the Lindfield Arts Festival Stand on The Common on Village Day, the 1st of June 2019.
Entries can be submitted in person to our Village Day Stand or they can be sent in the post to: Lindfield Arts Festival Competition, 1 Pine Cottage, Pondcroft Road, Lindfield RH16 2HQ.
The closing date for entries is the 3rd of June 2019 and the winners will be contacted after this date, before the winning entries are then posted on our website.

If you’re seasoned “quizzers”, a bunch of friends and family needing something entertaining to do on a
June Friday night, or you and your mates (up for a laugh) are just looking for a fun way to get the
brain cells going by testing out your general knowledge, then maybe this is the event for you.
As a fund-raising night for the upcoming 10th Anniversary of Lindfield Arts Festival in September a
themed quiz is to be held at the Bent Arms in Lindfield from 7.30pm on Friday 28th June 2019.
Teams of up to six people can enter at a cost of £5 per person (to include pens and answer sheets).
The overall winners will secure themselves a bottle of Taittinger Brut Réservé, those coming in
second a box of chocolates and for the team finishing in last place the traditional wooden spoon.
But the fun doesn’t stop there: your quiz-master for the evening is local comedy writer Alex Jones 
who will be offering teams a plethora of opportunities to gain extra bonus points; and in line with the arts festival theme (at an additional cost of £5 per person) teams can compete in our fancy dress contest, with the “best dressed table” winning a small prize too.
The quiz will start promptly at 8pm with a short interval roughly halfway through for everyone to sample the excellent range of food and beverages The Bent Arms has to offer. Pizza slices are also very kindly being donated by the pub.
